2010 Wrap Up - DOUBLE WIDE TRAILER PRIDE!

So long since the last update here on the ol' webpage!  A lot happened and then a lot did not happen as we all get busy now and again!

photos: john walsh

We wrapped up the summer at our first Crash Mansion show with good friends old and new.  Great times there and we look forward to doing it again...maybe someday we'll put a use to that back room with all the stickers?  Felt like we should have been spilling booze, telling jokes, and talking shit more privately....nah, whatever, we would rather hang out with everyone anyway!

Over the past bit since we last talked, new songs have been in the works and a revamp to the show is happening.  If you got anything you want to see us do, send it to us and we'll do our best to make it happen! Whether its Sharkey dressing up as a leprechaun and singing Lucky Charm, Dave dressing in drag, or Patch going for that Trailer Park sickness....wait, they do that already...oh well, get creative.

We're wrapping up ol' 2010 where we begun the year's shows, Arlene's Grocery!  Awesome sound, great people, liquid drinks.  Come hear the new tunes on December 8th, at 9:00 PM.  It's getting cold out there, but we'll keep you nice and warm....

Double wide trailer pride don’t it feel great,
Got the jukebox pumping out some Willie and Hank,
All my rowdy friends on the hunt for some skank,
So put them beers in the air you all can relate!

National Underground Blitz!

I know this note is coming pretty late being that we played The National Underground nearly 2 weeks ago, but it is not because it wasn't a killer show! It was definitely one of the best gigs we played all summer!
If you weren't there to experience it with us, imagine your friend's garage or basement, tons of friends and family, booze, and great vibes packing the place!  Total grunged out grooves mixed with everyone singing along was such a great time for all of us.  Thanks to everyone that was there and wishes they could have been.  We love those gigs that always suprise you.

See everyone tonight at Crash Mansion to wrap up our string of summer jams for the year.  We'll be taking a break writing new material (which is already in the works of course!) and recording a bunch of stuff too.  See you this winter when we'll all need some warm whiskey and killer lads music to stay alive!

KICK IT!

Cross off Brooklyn! Bar Matchless - Clatty Family Grows!

All photos by: John Walsh
How to even write a note about last night's show, no clue! So many friends, such amazing people, old and new...the support, love, and all around good times....YOU MAKE THESE SHOWS FOR US!!

The Clatty Family grew by 2 more Lads as Matt and Mary Knapp joined us for our first great night in Brooklyn at Bar Matchless. Matt's pedal steel we hope will grace us at many more shows and many more songs in the future. What an amazing talent to only be bettered by his wife Mary singing beautiful harmonies!

Cheers to the people over at Bar Matchless for taking care of us and making the food, brews, and hospitality so welcoming. We hope to make it back out there soon, and hopefully this time the G train will work! HA! Sorry to everyone that got a little re-routed because of that, but we appreciate the energy and dollars spent making the trek anyhow!

We hope you all loved the debut of "Six Pack Of Tears" on this very special night. Enjoy the amazing photos taken by John Walsh and video to follow from Chris Bottzoni in the near future. We owe you guys a ton for the art you create!

The Lads @ National Underground is our next endeavor of the summer on Tuesday, August 24th at 9:00PM, so make it out before it's over!!!

Good Luck! THANKS! YAR!

Atlantic City, Sko, THE LADS, BLAM!

It's gone. AC flew by and we learned a lot from the trip...the traffic in Jersey to Atlantic City on a weekend in the summer is HELL!!! But, we saw some interesting things and made it safely so mission accomplished.

Big thanks to Josh Carey for his key pounding skills no matter where we were playing.

And another Huge thanks to Sko for coming out and killing "Cheap Times" for the first time live on stage!! Historic moment for sure!!! Looking forward to doing it again sometime soon.

Everyone who came: A Million thanks and we hope to see you at the next one.

See you in Brooklyn!

Lads hit Kingston, NY - Midsummer's Night Acoustic Jams - July 31st, 2010

Our first trip to Kingston, NY and we can only say thanks to all the locals and visitors who made us feel so welcome. The trees, rolling hills, fresh air, friendliness of every stranger around, great shops, an awesome historic downtown, beautiful weather, great music, cold beers, tasty food....Such a great time.

A Million thanks go out to Tim McArdle for inviting us to come play in such a historic location. A 100 year old theater served as the backdrop for all the amazing artists to vibe off of. The old town of Kingston only made it that much more intimate of a night. We wouldn't have had the opportunity if it wasn't for Tim...thanks bud!

Be sure to check out Kiriaki Bozas and her killer piano tunes as well as Johnny Marnell's amazing skills. Both amazing musician's we were able to share the night with and hope to again one day.

Be sure to check out the videos below of the show and find photos on the Facebook page.

Next up: Atlantic City - Lets keep the good summer road-show vibes a flowin'!

Lads Rock Arlene's Grocery 07/20/2010!

Hoooooooo--YA! So much fun on a night we've been anticipating for so long now. Not only was the response a super positive one, the drinks were flowing, and the music a beatin'!

Thank you so very much to everyone who came out on a school night to rock with us. It was all very humbling as usual, can't get away from that with great friends, family, and new acquaintances. But why would you want to?

Arlene's is such a fun venue and so many bands we look up to have played there at the beginnings of their musical careers...lets hope its a dash of good luck! This was just the first strike and the fire is just starting. The next show will be even better, we don't even know what's possible!

Keep your eyes and ears peeled for some photos, video, and audio to be posted shortly. A million trillion thanks to our buddy John Walsh for shooting our first promo photos as well. Can't wait to see em'.

Kingston is our next stop this summer and we hope to see you all up there!

More songs to bring to the stage shortly!
